Your first gold

1. Create your account
Open Register and enter your full name, email and a password of at least 12 characters. A compliance officer then reviews your identity. Trading opens after approval, and until then Portfolio shows your KYC status.
2. Wait for your wallet
After approval, Dara sets up your wallet automatically. You don't manage keys and you don't need XLM.
3. Add cash
Cash reaches your account when an operator records your bank deposit. Deposits above the approval threshold also need a second staff member, so they may take longer.
4. Turn on two-factor authentication
Go to Settings, open Two-factor authentication and choose Set up. Add the key to your authenticator app, or scan the QR code, then enter the 6-digit code. After that, logins and transfers need a code from the app.
Buy or sell
- Open Trade.
- Choose Buy or Sell, then enter a quantity or an amount in Toman.
- Select Get quote. The quote shows the unit price, gross, fee and what you pay or receive.
- Select Confirm before the countdown ends. If it expires, request a new quote.
While the order settles, your funds are held. The order completes when its transaction is in a closed Stellar ledger. If settlement fails, everything held is released.
When you sell
Transfer to another customer
Open Transfer, enter the recipient's email and the quantity, then select Send. Transfers have no fee. The recipient must be a verified Dara customer. You can't send GOLD to an outside wallet (why).
Withdraw cash
Open Withdraw, enter the amount in Toman and your IBAN (Sheba), and select Request withdrawal. The amount is held immediately and paid after two operators confirm the bank transfer.
