Dara Docs

What is Dara?

A custodial platform for buying, selling and transferring gold-backed tokens on Stellar.

Customers want to own gold in small amounts, move it easily and check that it's real, without taking physical delivery. Dara holds the gold and issues one GOLD token per gram. Every trade is a Stellar transaction, and anyone can check the supply against the published backing.

The four products

ProductForWhat it does
Dara walletCustomersRegister, pass KYC, see gold and cash, buy, sell, transfer, withdraw
Admin consoleStaffAssets, reserves, issuing and burning, prices, cash, customers, reconciliation, signing

Landing siteVisitors and global walletsExplains the asset and publishes stellar.toml, the asset's public identity file

How Dara earns

Each asset has a configurable buy and sell spread and a fee on each trade. Transfers between customers have no fee.

Where it stands

The whole system runs end to end on a local Stellar network, and make demo passes all its checks. The next step is the full run on Testnet.

Testnet resets on December 16, 2026

The Testnet run should finish before that date, or be repeated after it.
